Setup

Step 1. Conduct a scan of all client computer systems.

PretechtSM network technician will arrive on-site to install one Pretecht box per client location. One box will audit all network-connected devices at that location. For approximately one week, the Pretecht box will scan your network - collecting computer health and performance metrics that are automatically sent back to SSE for analysis. This scan does not audit any client data or confidential information. Rather, it scans to discover all devices connected to the network. Each device identified as a server or workstation is scanned to determine system health, installed software, hardware configuration, and security profile as compared to industry best practices.

Step 2. Present a stabilization report.

Your PretechtSM consultant will present you with a condensed report to describe the overall health of your network and computer systems. This report will outline in no uncertain terms what needs to be fixed, updated, added or changed and specifically how this should be accomplished.

Step 3. Enter a 30-day stabilization phase.

PretechtSM network technicians will take action as outlined in the stabilization report and agreed upon by the client. This may be accomplished both remotely and on-site. During the next 30 days, PretechtSM will continually rescan the network until the system is considered "stabilized." This step ensures your computer systems and network are optimally configured for health and stability, minimizing future downtime by advanced remediation.

Step 4. Activate the remote monitoring system.

Once in activation mode, your PretechtSM box will continuously audit all devices identified as critical and take snapshots at regularly scheduled intervals. The box digitally transmits these snapshots to SSE, where they will be analyzed and catalogued for continual trending analysis.

Step 5. Make repairs remotely and on-site as necessary.

PretechtSM makes regular updates and repairs to your systems without interrupting productivity. It also prevents system failure by detecting when a device is trending toward failure - which saves priceless hours in downtime and data loss.

Step 6. Communicate with timely and quantifiable reports.

You will have a Web-based portal through which you may monitor the status of your network and submit any additional IT requests. For example, you may access reports 24-hours a day to determine overall system health and the status of any open issues. Additionally, you may submit requests, such as alerting PretechtSM that a new newly-hired employee will need a user ID.
